“Sounds of Indonesia” Music Festival
Chatham Music Program was joined by ethnomusicologist and Indonesian music specialist Dr. Meghan Hynson and the University of Pittsburgh Gamelan Ensemble in an afternoon of exploration into the West Javanese musical ensemble gamelan degung. Participants were introduced to Indonesian music and its cultural contexts for performance.
