Steph Churchel

Steph Churchel is a University of Pittsburgh graduate with a B.S. degree in Business Management. She joined Chatham University in September 2013 as an MBA student concentrating on Strategy and Entrepreneurship and was hired as the Graduate Assistant to the Business and Entrepreneurship department. As the Graduate Assistant, Steph is responsible for managing online social media sites for the Business & Entreprenership department, as well as websites that promote news and information about undergraduate business, MBA and MAcc programs at Chatham University. Steph is involved in the Business and Entrepreneurship club. When she’s not in the classroom or office, Steph enjoys international travel, working out at Alexander’s Athletic Club and part-time work at Narcisi Winery.

 

Tanya Penaloza

Tanya Penaloza is originally from Guayaquil, Ecuador. She’s the Research Coordinator for the CWE, has an undergraduate degree in International Business from Chatham University. She has been working with the CWE department since last February to develop and implement programs in order to provide opportunities for women entrepreneurs to start, develop, and significantly grow their businesses. She’s also responsible for coordinating and attending CWE events (like events sponsored by the business and entrepreneurship club that she’s involved in), updating the CWE website and researching development on entrepreneurship and grants. Upon graduating with an MBA in Strategy and Entrepreneurship in May, Tanya would like to work for a multinational company in logistics, supply chain or international sales doing anything involving product import/exportation. In her spare time, Tanya helps her parents with their family-owned company, finding suppliers in the U.S. and China. She loves trying new food, salsa dancing, traveling and going to local events.
