On October 27, 2014, Don Mueser, the Small Business Segment Marketing Manager for UPS within the Mid Atlantic District, came to speak with the Statistical Application in Business Efficiency (BUS 610) class taught by Professor Christine Ricci. UPS is Platinum Sponsor of Chatham University’s Center for Women’s Entrepreneurship.
Don began his career with UPS as a package car driver in the Aliquippa Center in 1989. After being promoted to Account Executive in 1990, Don has held many assignments in Business Development over the past 25 years including Sales Account Manager, Sales Operations Manager and Sales Training Manager as well as Area Sales Manager in the Greater Metro Pittsburgh area. Don earned his Bachelor degree in Finance from LaRoche College and a Master’s degree in Marketing from Robert Morris University. Don shared insights about how UPS uses data to improve process efficiency, improve customer service, and create products that meet their customers’ needs.
