Sonja preferred to stay anonymous. Sonja has a long and thorough backing in cooking because she taught home economics for years when she was teaching. She likes to and prefers to eat healthy is very focused on nutrition, her diet and what she consumes. One of her favorite things to eat are vegetables, especially frying them in the pan with olive oil. She was kind enough to share two of her favorite recipes with us.
Fried Veggies
Brussel sprouts
Mushrooms
Green Beans
Broccoli
Chicken broth
Olive oil
Tomatoes
(You can add whatever other veggies you would like)
Slice up all of the veggies and sauté them in olive oil and once done, put them to the side. Sautee garlic and put in 1 tablespoon of chicken broth. Let it simmer into the olive oil. Add the veggies and fresh tomato wedges, laying them down and let them simmer. Serve over wild rice.
