The Chatham Marketing Association (CMA) was established as a student organization of Chatham University in 2007 and became an official collegiate chapter of the American Marketing Association (AMA) in 2008. Chatham University AMA has won 40+ awards for competition performances, individual and chapter activities, social impact efforts and scholarship funding.

MISSION

Chatham Marketing Association (CMA) is a collegiate chapter of the American Marketing Association (AMA). Our role as a collegiate chapter is to provide our student members in marketing, business, communications, and related majors the opportunity to gain real-world knowledge and hands-on experiences within the field of marketing to enable career success.”

VISION & DIRECTION

Chatham University AMA’s collegiate chapter is among one of the smallest chapters in the collegiate AMA division. We started out as a small women’s college in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and have recently grown in numbers and changing student body as Chatham University went gender inclusive in the Fall of 2015. With this influx of students, there has been increased interest in our AMA chapter. To support our expanding membership, we provide opportunities for enhancing professional development, social impact and community engagement, communications skills and fundraising programs that enable our members to develop professional and personal skills with tangible impact
