Welcome Another New B&E Team Member!

Kimberly Calderon is an international student from Colombia who has been living in the United States for six years. After graduating with honors from the Community College of Allegheny County with an associate degree in Business Management and Entrepreneurship, she decided to pursue a BA in Business Administration at Chatham with a focus on Women’s Leadership. During her time at CCAC, she was in the Honors Program and was a member of the campus Phi Theta Kappa chapter, giving her the opportunity to work on various projects that contributed to the community. Kimberly hopes to get involved in some of the many clubs and activities here at Chatham; she’s excited to have the opportunity to meet new people and grow her skills through new experiences.

After completing her bachelor’s degree, Kimberly hopes to get her MBA with a concentration in Project Management. She plans to take advantage of all the professional opportunities the city of Pittsburgh has to offer and wants to gain some great work experience. As far as long-term goals, she is not sure if she’ll remain in the United States or return to Latin America.

When not in class, Kimberly enjoys reading, traveling, and discovering new places. Dancing is also one of her favorite things to do, so she tries to take advantage of the different salsa or Latino parties around the city. She also loves trying new foods and meeting new people, and is passionate about working on community projects; she is a member of the Urban Impact Foundation and spends most of her weekends there.

Kimberly is honored and excited to be part of the B&E Department and is excited to contribute and learn from the team.
