Summer study abroad opportunities

Interested in study abroad?  Check out low cost or partially funded summer opportunities with upcoming deadlines:

 

Tradition and Modernity in Taiwan Program. Taipei, Taiwan, 4 weeks. Apply by February 15, 2019.

Doshisha Women’s College of Liberal Arts, Kyoto, Japan, Japanese Language Intensive Course, two 3 week sessions, 4 credits each, open to female students only.

Bahrom International Program (BIP) at Seoul Women’s University, Seoul, South Korea, 3 credits, June 25-July 18, 2019, open to both men and women. 

Scholarships –

For Pell grant recipients, apply for the Gilman Scholarship for a study abroad scholarship of up to $5000 for summer 2019, fall 2019, or academic year 2019-2020. Student application deadline is March 5, 2019.

Chatham Experiential Learning scholarships – for summer and field experiences, apply by February 28.

FreemanAsia scholarship – for study/intern in Asia during summer 2019, fall 2019, or academic year 2019-2020.  Apply by April 5.
